Wallsend based Jackson Hogg secures Germany deal

Jackson Hogg Recruitment, one of the largest specialist technical recruiters in the North East of England, has grown its international customer base in a move that will see the export of its expertise to Germany.

Based in Wallsend, North Tyneside, Jackson Hogg has signed a contract with a medical technology company in Berlin to appoint a VP of business development and a channel manager through a search-and-selection process.

The businesses were introduced through a referral from Bender Inc, a German-owned electrical-safety company in America, for whom Jackson Hogg has made several senior appointments across many states.

Richard Hogg, Jackson Hogg Recruitment’s managing director, said: “This expansion into Germany shows our confidence in the future of the European employment market.

“We work with clients and candidates around the globe and this close access to the European market will help us continue to expand our network.

“To win a contract this significant from the referral of an important client in America, really demonstrates the strength of our relationships.

“We work in partnership with our clients to ensure that we shortlist the right candidates and I believe this method of working, where we build real trust, is why we are experiencing such high demand for our services.”

The contract comes at a time of much growth and expansion for Jackson Hogg, as it recently made eight strategic appointments in its own team, including a number of multi-linguists to assist with international expansion.

On the prospect of opening new offices abroad, Richard said: “From this success, as well as our continued expansion into America, it’s only natural that we are considering our options in terms of opening an office outside of the UK.”
