Information

Home GroupHome Group, one of the UK’s leading housing and social care organisations, opened a centre at Quorum Business Park.

The company’s state-of-the-art customer service centre is now home to 130 staff based in a 11,300sqft top floor of building Q15, one of the sustainable buildings built at Quorum in 2010.

Quorum won a fiercely-contested UK-wide pitch against other major business parks due to excellent transport links and its close proximity to a large number of Home Group’s customers and clients.  North Tyneside Council’s business team provided detailed background information for the area and connected the company to other sources of business support.

Home Group commissioned the centre as part of a wider transformation of its customer services.

On moving into Home Group’s new premises, Mark Henderson, Chief Executive said: “I’m very excited about this project and delighted to be able to announce these new jobs.

“We know our customers and clients rightly expect the very highest levels of service. I’m confident our new centre will help us to provide an outrageously brilliant service and make a real contribution to the local community.

“We’re a key local employer and we look forward to recruiting a fantastic team – including some of our own customers and clients.

Fergus Trim, Development Director at Quorum said: “Home Group is another major occupier that we are delighted to welcome to Quorum. It again proves that the availability of a skilled workforce and a cost-effective, quality working environment will bring new jobs to the North East.”
